Here we had a great opportunity to give this room a new lease of life. The angular architecture of the room and double height ceiling needed some careful thought. The client agreed to use the confident and rich colour palette of Inchyra Blue, and this became the foundation of this design which really complements the height and space of the room beautifully. We updated the fireplace, flooring and doors and carefully considered the material choice using the wall colour on all doors and skirting to provide a more fluid line to this angular room. We added softer accent colours with soft pink wools and teal velvets teamed with a washed grey wood finish to provide a relaxed, calm feel. Hanging the client’s stunning artwork, completed this interior and made it the comfortable and stylish family living room it was intended to be
